Tech9 names Jeff Conley as CEO as founder Nick Stice transitions to Chairman, marking a strategic step forward in scaling AI-native delivery and agentic engineering capabilities.
Tech9 has announced a planned leadership transition designed to position the company for its next phase of growth and innovation. Founder and longtime CEO Nick Stice will step into the role of Chairman of the Board, while Jeff Conley—currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer—will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer effective May 1.
This transition comes at a pivotal moment for Tech9, as demand continues to accelerate for advanced software solutions, particularly in the areas of agentic engineering and AI-accelerated delivery. With deep operational expertise and a strong understanding of Tech9’s clients and internal systems, Conley is uniquely positioned to lead the company into this next chapter while maintaining continuity in strategy, culture, and execution.
Nick Stice, who founded Tech9 and has led the company for more than a decade, will remain actively involved through September and continue to work closely with Conley and the leadership team. His transition to Chairman reflects a deliberate and thoughtful evolution of leadership aligned to the company’s stage of growth.
