Become a Tesani scout
At Tesani, we back founder-led businesses that are profitable, principled, and built to last. If you know a company that fits that spirit, we want to meet them. And we want to thank the people who make that introduction in a meaningful way.

How it works
Share an introduction
Email us the business, the founder’s name, a few sentences on why the business stands out, and any warm context you can provide. Intros are welcome from anyone.
Align with us directly
Before we formalize anything, you’ll join a short call with Tesani leadership. We’ll walk through expectations, referral terms, and what a good partnership looks like.
Celebrate the close
If a deal happens, we’ll send you a clear, fair referral fee once it closes. The founder gains a long-term steward. You share in the value you helped create.
That’s it. Simple, personal, and built around real trust.
Why refer to Tesani?

Selective by design
We only move forward when there’s genuine alignment. No spray-and-pray outreach, no volume play.

Founder first
We don’t cut teams or gut culture. We don’t flip companies just to make a spreadsheet sing.

Straightforward rewards
We’ll clearly outline the fee structure and pay promptly after the deal closes.

A reputation worth sharing
You can be proud to refer a business to Tesani because you’re introducing them to people who care.
Once we receive your intro, we’ll review it quickly. If it looks like a fit, we’ll reach out to set up a short meeting before anything moves forward.
Thinking about referring someone? Start here.
How does Tesani value businesses?
We care more about steady cash flow than projections. Valuation depends on business model, margins, and long-term sustainability. We typically start with a multiple on EBITDA and will always explain how we’re thinking about it.
Do you invest in startups?
Startups aren’t our focus. We look for proven companies with real revenue and loyal customers. We’re probably not the right home for pre-product or pre-profit companies, but we’ll always take a look if it feels special.
Do I need a broker agreement to refer someone?
No. If your intro is promising, we’ll reach out to schedule a short call. That’s when we’ll talk through expectations, clarify terms, and make sure we’re aligned before any formal agreement is signed.
Will I be expected to sell or represent Tesani?
No. If your intro is promising, we’ll reach out to schedule a short call. That’s when we’ll talk through expectations, clarify terms, and make sure we’re aligned before any formal agreement is signed.
How much do you pay?
It depends on the size and structure of the deal, but we always share our terms in advance and keep them simple. You’ll know exactly how it works before a deal progresses.
When do I get paid?
After the deal closes. No waiting games. No confusion.
Who qualifies to make a referral?
Anyone. You don’t need to be a banker, investor, or advisor. If you know a great founder, we want to hear from you.
What kinds of companies are a fit?
Founder-led. Profitable. Principled. Most have between $100K and $10M in EBITDA and at least three years of steady operations. We especially love niche or “boring” businesses with loyal customers and real staying power.
