Tanima & Mana, Mali – Sunshine Heroes Foundation, in collaboration with the Mali Rising Foundation, has opened two Sunshine Children's Centers in the rural villages of Mana and Tanima, Mali. These centers are the first of their kind in these communities, offering essential education and life skills to children who previously had limited access to schooling.

The first Sunshine Children’s Center was built in Mana, Mali, in 2009, followed by a second center in Tanima in 2010. Both centers were established to support the mission of the Mali Rising Foundation, which is committed to making education accessible to children in rural areas of Mali. The centers provide not only proper educational facilities but also training for teachers and the necessary learning materials that are often lacking in these regions.

Together, these two centers have enrolled nearly 2,000 students, equipping them with life skills and knowledge that give hope for a brighter future. Students are taught vital skills that can help them improve their lives and the lives of those around them.

The total cost of the project was $110,000, a testament to the commitment of Sunshine Heroes and Mali Rising Foundation to improving education and empowering children in Mali.

“We are proud of the work we’ve done in partnership with the Mali Rising Foundation to create these centers,” said a representative from Sunshine Heroes. “Education is one of the most powerful tools we can give to children, and these centers will continue to have a lasting impact on the communities of Mana and Tanima.”
