Sunshine Heroes Completes Renovation of Lyubertsy Children’s Hospital in Russia

Lyubertsy, Russia – Sunshine Heroes Foundation, in collaboration with the International Women’s Club of Moscow, has completed a major renovation of the Lyubertsy Children’s Hospital, marking the foundation’s first-ever international project. The hospital serves sick children and infants who have been abandoned and turned over to the state due to inadequate shelter and care. With this renovation, Sunshine Heroes has significantly improved the hospital’s facilities and equipment, providing a safer and more comfortable environment for children in need.

The project involved extensive structural improvements across five floors of the hospital, including renovations to bedrooms, bathrooms, dining halls, nursing stations, directors’ offices, a kitchen, a laboratory, and a children’s playroom. In addition to these renovations, Sunshine Heroes Foundation purchased critical medical equipment, such as respiratory machines, injection machines, plumbing and electrical supplies, water heaters, windows, cribs, beds, and blankets. The foundation also provided new furniture, including tables, chairs, mobiles, and refrigerators, to enhance the hospital’s operations and care capabilities.

With an estimated impact of over 10,000 children per year, this project is a testament to the belief that every child deserves proper medical care and safe living conditions.

“We are so proud to have completed this first project in Lyubertsy, and we are honored to be able to contribute to the wellbeing of children who need it most,” said a representative from Sunshine Heroes. “This hospital will now offer better care, better living conditions, and a brighter future for the children it serves.”
